Almanach

A learning platform where every step makes sense.

For Almanach we built the learning platform where learners, teachers and schools learn and teach German with Almanach’s method, from sign-up to payment.

The problem

A method of its own that needed a platform.

Almanach has developed its own method for learning German: immersive, step by step, without translations. For learners, teachers and schools to work with it, it needed a web platform where they get the lessons and can buy access.

Our solution

One platform for three groups, with one simple principle: a code unlocks a level.

  • Learners As Almanachers they sign up on their own, redeem a code and learn with lessons, audio and exercises.
  • Teachers With Almanach Pro they get every level without a code once approved, plus homework, guides and presentations. They buy access for their courses on top and resell it.
  • Schools As Almanach Partners, language schools buy access for their classes in any quantity once approved.

Levels and lessons

Unlocked level by level.

Four levels from A1.1 to A2.2 with 16 lessons each. A code opens a level, bought or handed out by a school or teacher; then every lesson is ready with its material.

Three areas

Each group has its own area.

Blue for learners, orange for teachers, red for schools: the logo, icons and buttons change with the role, and each role only sees its own pages.

The result

Live at learn.almanach.app.

  • Paid and unlocked After payment the platform creates the codes and emails them, with no manual work at Almanach.
  • Two editions The material is there in two editions side by side; learners and teachers switch with one click.
  • One account, one device Each account is signed in on one device at a time, so access isn’t shared.
  • Maintained by Almanach Almanach shows and hides levels, lessons and materials itself, without a new release.

Working together

Built in half a year, looked after until 2026.

From October 2024 to April 2025 we built the platform, then looked after it and developed it further until March 2026. The code is with Almanach today.

In their words

“They are reliable, thoughtful, and very enjoyable to work with.”
